Wave of Education
An informative resource for students on what consent is to an individual. This is to improve students' awareness on how to ask for consent by posting flyers, posters, and having seminars around campus. GardnerGaytan advocates for a more sexually educated environment.
Sea Safety
In emergency situations, self defense items give safety to individuals. Providing these items in the form of a keychain will give students safety in any unforeseen situation. It will advocate for keychains to perform as an alarm system and self defense item.
Red Flare
Kits will be provided to individuals affected by an act of rape. These kits will include testing materials to collect samples of the incident, making it more accessible for students on campus.
Argonaut Shots
This initiative will provide emergency assistance to anyone inside bars. By ordering a drink off the Argonaut Shot menu this will serve as a signal to the bartender that the individual is in need of assistance without alerting the person they need protection from
Lighthouse
Providing late night bus travel to students on and off campus by adding additional bus stops. This gives the students an opportunity to take the bus to or from locations within a certain vicinity of campus at late night hours. Extending safer transportation after dark.
